Heroes in the Rare Disease Community
There have been many individuals – researchers, patient advocates, government officials, and industry leaders – who have played key roles in improving the lives of patients and their families over the years. For the 30th anniversary, FDA is creating posters honoring 30 individuals and organizations, and NORD will provide a link to those soon.
NORD invites you to submit a photo and brief (300 words or less) description of the work of a rare disease hero here for display on this website so that all can read their stories. Your hero can be someone currently active or someone who helped drive progress in the past.
