The NIH is conducting a study to compare the safety and effectiveness of a potential new treatment for eye inflammation from Behcet's disease, a multisystem inflammatory disorder characterized by ulcers of the mouth and genitals, various skin lesions, and abnormalities affecting the eyes. Participants will receive the study drug Zeneca or a placebo (an inactive substance that neither harms nor helps). While on this study, patients can continue their current eye medications. All study-related medications and tests are provided free of charge.
