The National Center for Education for Maternal and Child Health (NCEMCH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health, education, and well being of children and families. Although it does not provide clinical or medical information, NCEMCH works with program development, publications, information services, conferences and the activities of Title V (federally funded) communities to achieve its goals and often collaborates with various agencies and organizations in its mission. Established in 1982, NCEMCH offers a referral service, technical assistance in developing maternal and child health programs, catalogues of references and items available for purchase, and a directory. The Center’s reference collection consists of program materials on maternal and child health topics. Some printed materials are available in Spanish and certain Asian languages.
