The National Pediculosis Association is a non-profit health agency dedicated to promoting public education about Pediculosis and the prevention and treatment of lice and scabies. Pediculosis is the medical term for any type of louse infestation. Incorporated in 1983, the National Pediculosis Association has worked to build awareness about head lice prevention and has helped to standardize head lice control policies nationwide.
