The Human Brain and Spinal Fluid Resource Center serves as a bridge between the patient/clinician and the scientist who is studying the etiopathogenesis of many different neurological and psychiatric disorders on postmortem tissue, through its Gift of Hope Donor Program. The Resource Center collects, stores and distributes high quality brain tissue, blood/cerebrospinal fluid and other tissues. The Center includes a limited number of samples representing Batten's Disease, subacute sclerosing panencephalitis, Tay-Sach's Disease, as well as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington Disease, multiple sclerosis and many others.
