The Voices for America's Children (VAC) (formerly The National Association of Child Advocates) is a national, non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives and living conditions of children by strengthening child advocacy organizations in states and communities. Established in 1984, Voices is committed to the creation and sustenance of state- and community-based child advocacy organizations and serves as the collective voice of these organizations. With members in 44 states, Voices connects state and local advocates with national experts, acts as a clearinghouse for child advocacy information, and provides organizational development assistance in such areas as board development, program building, and fund-raising.
