The Bernard-Soulier Syndrome Website and Registry (BSSWR) has been set up by Dr. Dermot Kenny, Director of the Clinical Research Centre at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, to help physicians and patients learn more about this syndrome. Bernard-Soulier syndrome is a severe, hereditary, rare bleeding disorder. It is hoped that physicians will contribute information to the registry to build a body of valuable information over time. The site is run on a not-for-profit basis and is supported by a number of other physicians and scientists with a particular interest in this syndrome.
