The Dubowitz Syndrome Support helps and supports families, physicians, and other professionals understand Dubowitz syndrome, a very rare genetic and developmental disorder involving multiple anomalies that include growth failure/short stature, unusual facial features, a small head, possible mental retardation, and eczema. With contacts around the world, this support organization provides referrals, educational advocacy, information on travel and lodging near various clinics and medical facilities, funding opportunities for medical visits, advice on assistive technology, information about federal programs, and opportunities to network through its Internet mailing list.
