The Turner Syndrome Support Society, based in the United Kingdom, offers support and information to patients, families and friends who have been affected by Turner syndrome. Turner syndrome is a rare chromosomal disorder of females characterized by short stature and the lack of sexual development at puberty. The society works with relevant specialists to promote education and understanding of the management of Turner syndrome. It encourages research into all aspects of this syndrome, including medical, psychological and educational.
