The Hydrocephalus Foundation, Inc., is a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, educational resources and networking opportunities to patients and families affected by hydrocephalus. This is a condition in which abnormally widened (dilated) cerebral spaces in the brain (ventricles) inhibit the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid. The foundation also promotes related research and facilitates the training of healthcare professionals to improve patient outcome.
