The Acoustic Neuroma Association (ANA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and support to individuals with an acoustic neuroma. An acoustic neuroma is a benign tumor of the eighth (auditory) cranial nerve. Established in 1981, the association seeks to educate the public, regarding symptoms suggestive of acoustic neuroma in order to promote early diagnosis and successful treatment. In addition, the Acoustic Neuroma Association provides referrals to support groups and offers a variety of educational and support materials through it's database, quarterly newsletter, brochures and audiovisual aids.
