The Simons VIP Connect is a non-profit, online community for individuals with 16p11.2 deletions or duplications and their families. Their goal is to allow families to communicate with one another and provide access to cutting edge clinical and research information. Individuals with 16p11.2 deletions are missing a specific section in one of their two chromosome 16’s. Those with 16p11.2 duplications have a specific extra section in one of their two chromosome 16’s.
