Established in 1909, the Mental Health America (MHA) (formerly known as the National Mental Health Association) is a non-profit mental health advocacy organization concerned with all aspects of mental health and mental illness. The Association's Resource Center Serves the general public by providing literature about mental illness and referrals to mental health services. In addition, the Resource Center provides technical assistance to mental health consumer and consumer supporter organizations, advocacy organizations, and MHA's nationwide network of 340 Affiliate offices.
