The NORD/Roscoe Brady Lysosomal Storage Diseases Fellowships provide $50,000 to
$70,000 per year to young physicians who desire to establish careers in lysosomal
storage diseases clinical medicine. Dr. Brady is an NIH scientist who discovered the
metabolic basis of several lysosomal storage diseases and who pioneered effective
enzyme replacement therapies for Gaucher and Fabry diseases. This program is funded by
generous donations from the Genzyme Corporation.
