The Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum (ACC) Network is a not-for-profit, self-help organization dedicated to providing information and support to individuals with agenesis of the corpus callosum, their families, and professionals. This condition is characterized by the complete or partial absence of the thick band of nerve fibers (corpus callosum) that connects the two cerebral hemispheres. Established in 1990, the Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum Network also provides support to individuals with other callosal disorders, including dysgenesis (malformation) and hypoplasia (thin) of the corpus callosum. The Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum Network facilitates the exchange of information, support, and resources through its networking programs.
